This 1969 Triumph Bonneville T120R was restored under previous ownership and was acquired by the seller in 2022. Finished in Olympic Flame and Silver Sheen, the bike is powered by a 649cc parallel twin mated to a four-speed transmission. Features include a kick starter, dual Amal carburetors, a chrome dual exhaust system, drum brakes, wire-spoke wheels, trail lighting, Smiths instrumentation, and a black two-up seat. This Bonneville shows 8k miles and is offered with an initial sales invoice, an owner’s manual, service records, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The fenders and fuel tank were refinished under previous ownership in Olympic Flame and Silver Sheen. Details include a headlight, black rubber knee grips, a black vinyl-upholstered two-up seat, a rear grab handle, a taillight, folding passenger foot pegs, and both center and side stands.
Chrome-finished steel rims measuring 19″ up front and 18″ out back are laced to hubs with drum brakes, the front of which features a twin leading shoe design. Dunlop Gold Seal K70 tires are fitted, and the suspension consists of a telescopic fork with black rubber gaiters as well as dual shocks mounted to the swingarm. Oxidation is visible on the wheel spokes.
The chrome-finished handlebar carries a left mirror and is mounted aft of instrumentation consisting of a Smiths 150-mph speedometer and 10k-rpm tachometer, along with a Lucas ammeter housed in the headlight bucket. The five-digit odometer shows 8k miles, less than 100 of which were ridden under current ownership.
The 649cc OHV parallel twin was factory rated at 52 horsepower and features a kick starter, twin Amal carburetors, and a chrome dual exhaust system with a cross-over pipe. Work performed in 2021 included changing the oil, overhauling the carburetors, and replacing the battery and spark plugs.
The engine stamping T120RDU86437 shown above matches the VIN stamped on the frame, a photo of which can be viewed in the gallery.
Power is transferred to the rear wheel through a right-side-shifted four-speed transmission and a drive chain with a black upper guard.
